PSI WT Water Tank Unit:

General:

2000 through 4000 gallon Water unit mounted on a suitable chassis. All equipment can be operated from truck cab, including opening of nozzles, sprinkler heads, spray bar etc. Nozzles may be controlled in both single and dual by a switch in control panel with easy access of operator. Each nozzle will be of steel construction and be adjusted in three (3) planes and lockable, Spray heads will be steel pipe cap slotted and adjustable. Both spray heads and nozzles will be capable of 50 pounds per square inch, water valves operated with air over electric solenoids.

(Trucks with out air brakes will be controlled from water pump pressure)

All discharge plumbing will be all weld construction with drain valves at all low points for complete draining of water pump and plumbing, high strength wire reinforced water hose will be used at points of stress and misalignment.

Tank:

Tank heads are 7 gauge flat flanged and reinforced, 10 gauge surge plates with crawl holes to allow a person access to section of tank interior, holes at top and bottom of surge plates will allow complete draining of tank. Tank tops will be 10 gauge, bottoms 7 gauge. Tank will have full length tank sills attached to truck frame with spring loaded tie downs with cushion strips between truck frame and tank sills. Tanks larger than 2000 gallons will have sill pads between tank bottom shell and sills. (Steel tank material is ASTM A569) (Stainless Steel tanks with 304 stainless: Heads, Surge Plates, Tops and Bottoms)

Standard equipment on all tanks:

Access ladder with grip strut from manhole to operator ground level, passenger side.

20” man hole access to tank interior with full section manhole basket.

Anti- siphon 6” air gap, 2.5” hard piped from manhole to operator ground level, passenger side.

Molded plastic fenders over rear tires with mud flaps.

Hose hooks for fill and suction hoses.

Standard heavy duty rear bumper.

Reflectors, Clearance lights, stop turn and tail will meet federal motor vehicle NO. 108

Paint for tank and plumbing, Standard White.

Epoxy tank interior coating.

Pump:

Water pump will be 375 gallons per minute with 4” inlet and 3” outlet with mechanical pump shaft packing. Pump will be driven from truck transmission by power take off and drive shaft.
